Good news for those of you who couldn’t use your new visas to enter Indonesia during the PPKM lockdown.
As stated in the regulation update on 17th September 2021, those with a Kitas or B211 Visa that was issued between 22nd April 2021 and 18th July 2021 can still use it to enter Indonesia as long as you come before 15th October 2021.
This regulation has been announced because usually once issued, eVisas are valid for 90 days. This means you have 90 days to enter Indonesia from the date of issue of the visa. The PPKM lockdown prevented many foreigners who had obtained visas from entering Indonesia for much of their 90-day window. So these people now have just under a month to use their visas before they expire.
